Wirral Wargaming Club
Bringing Miniature Gaming to Wirral.
Club Guidelines
We aim to provide a safe, fun and friendly environment to play our games in. Please can you be mindful of the following rules and guidelines when attending club nights.
Players must be 18 years of age or older. Please don’t be offended if we ask to see I.D.
The Club will be open to facilitate games on the second Wednesday of each Month. These dates can be located for easy reference using the Schedule tab above.
The Club will open its doors at 6.30pm and will close at 9.30pm. Attendees are advised to be ending games and packing away all models and components at around 9pm. No later than 9.15pm, to ensure the Club closes on time.
The cost of admission will be £3, payable on the door, on the night. Attendees are politely requested to bring the correct monetry amount if at all possible.
We are a no smoking venue. We also have a no pets policy, with Guide Dogs the only exception to this rule.
Attendees are required to bring their own rules books, gaming components and models. We have limited terrain at the moment, and can provide basic table set ups, however, please feel free to bring your own terrain too.
On the subject of Attendees property, ie, models, rulebooks, components, etc, please ask before touching or picking up other peoples stuff. Afterall, it's only polite and people spend plenty of time, energy and money on their hobby items.
As we don't have any kind of retail facility, Attendees are invited to bring their own refreshments. However, none alcoholic, please. All we ask is that the facility is respected and you clear away your rubbish at the end of the session.
Please respect the community centres property and facilities. Please report any breakages or other issues to us right away should they occur.
We have a facebook group, which all are welcome to join. It would be of great assistance to the Club Founders if Attendees could arrange their games and opponents in an open manner via the group, to assist in the set up of tables etc for the evening in question.
Above all we wish to promote a friendly and accepting atmosphere at the club. We’re all here to have fun and make friends. It should go without saying that any bullying or threatening behaviour will result in being banned from the club.
